Angry Guild Wars '06 Edition ???

take a look at these 2 pages

http://eu.guildwars.com/support/article/gw06_edition/
(Edition with Exclusive in-game Bonus Items - like Coke Korea edition stuff)

http://eu.guildwars.com/support/arti..._4_april_2006/
(Added new bonus items to support the new Guild Wars ‘06 Edition package in Europe.)

and still it's impossible to order GW '06 Edition.

Don't you think it's strange ?

I think Anet should be more clear about such things.

It's no big deal to me. All games do this sort of thing because if you think about it, alot of online games are more American-Based and alot of people see it as that those people in the America area (America, Canada, etc.) get 'more' things and what not, so this is they're way of keeping the playing field visually and emotionaly even.

Well, I have the 2k6 version (as well as the normal, the SE and the CE) but I haven't seen any new weapons/items besides the ones on the first link. Must've missed something then

Someone in this thread posted a link to an online store where the '06 edition is available:
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s....php?t=3059575

I understand the confusion though. Since it's announcement, none of the popular online stores (amazon, play, game...) have had this listed.

EDIT: I've also noticed that the store is based in the Netherlands. Hey Marth, are you guys hogging all the copies?

thnx for replies. with help from forum inhabitants found those links:
http://www.nothingbutsoftware.com/ca...ductCode/35292
GW GOTY Edition $41,95

http://www.freerecordshop.com/pages/...033342&navid=4
GW '06 Edition EUR 44,99

but '06 is better because it has separate game and bonus keys
at least people say so

Half the time Canadian stores ship European games anyway because they've usually got French localization. Bilingual regulations, and whatnot. Quebec virtually always has Euro versions. And we rarely get US pre-orders/collector's editions/whatever or the Euro ones.

i wouldn't know that , but all the normal Guild wars games were replaced by the 2006 version... (those in our stores like Bart Smit and stuff)

Reports are mixed on forums. Some report getting 2 access keys instead of one in Euro - Some say they didn't.

Also commenting on the supply thing - Alex Weekes posted (dont remember if it was here, or GWonline) that some stores don't have it merely because they haven't restocked original Guild Wars yet. They won't recieve the newer editions of the original game til they restock it.

I'm interested cause I might get it for the items, but only if I can use them for my primary.

No, too bad. There was only 1 access key, which I found after 2 weeks, while searching stuff between my books.

This is what's inside the 2k6 edition:

A: 2 sided poster Necro/Assassin
B: Box with the 2 gamediscs
C: NC Soft catalogue
D: Quick reference card
E: Guild Wars Soundtrack audio cd
F: Manual and lore
G: "Collectible game activation card"
H: Code for bonus items
I: Code for a friend

Sorry for the crappy pic, but my Panasonic VS6 hasn't got a flash.

And here, in the Netherlands, 2k6 is pretty regular. You don't see the SE or standard edition much, let alone the CE.
